Let me start by saying that I used to be the owner of a used bookstore. Those who argue that it would be very difficult for anything electronic to replace standard book – I’m assuming simply have not tried one yet. The battery seems to last forever, and the clarity of the ink is actually quite shocking. I’ve never seen a device before that, when tilted at a fairly severe angle, ehe E-ink display still shows text quite clearly unlike any conventional computer screen.

Now that the prices come down since substantially and the technology of the E ink has made the reading experience very pleasurable, I can’t think of any reason why each of us won’t soon own a Kindle 3 e-book reader. I really am enjoying mine.

Of course, they may have over estimated when it would be ready but it felt like I was getting it early.
